How do you anticipate that the requested assistance will address the problems?
This assistance will help our office put into practice the suggestions identified by the PCE during their onsite study of our current workflow and office organization. Once the areas and practices that are helping create the backlog are identified, we can get cases resolved more efficiently, and prevent similar issues in the future.

The PCE has spent a great deal of time and thoughtful attention to the practices here at the Sangamon County State’s Attorney’s office and have been able to identify ways in which we can greatly improve our productivity, and increase access to justice for all parties.

If given the opportunity of an implementation grant, we will be able to more quickly be able to adopt these suggestions and improve the efficiency of our office. Our current staffing levels are an obstacle to more quickly adopting these changes.
