The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, heretofore referred to as LASD, is requesting the Blue Courage two-day training program to benefit professional supervisors/managers.
Although LASD is requesting the grant, this training will include the Los Angeles Police Department, Los Angeles City and County Fire Departments as well as the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and will be a valuable asset in the continued growth of the non-sworn supervisors, especially in the field of public safety where sworn personnel execute the primary mission. That mission, however, cannot be accomplished without the continued support and expertise of highly-trained professional supervisors.
