Title: What's in (and not in) that Mobile Extraction? A Conversation and Hands-on with Prosecutors 1 of 2
Description: Every crime involves technology. Most of the time, that technology has some link to a mobile device. The data can be local, synced to cloud accounts, backed up to countless locations, or generated by the user and stored with third-party providers, as in the case of CSLI. In this session, we provide an overview of Mobile Digital Crime Scenes, then dig deeper into the forensic examination of mobile devices. First, we will take you on a tour of a mobile device, teach you how to use exportable report formats from Cellebrite and Magnet Forensics, and provide you with your own data set to examine. Last, we incorporate a hands-on technical challenge you can do from your home or office. Winner takes all.
