Monthly Status:
In April, CSG Justice Center staff, along with expert consultant Dr. Sarah Desmarais, continued to work on finalizing deliverables, including identifying preferred art options and beginning the web design mock-ups.

The CSG Justice Center project team held calls with advisory group members Dr. Daryl Kroner and Dr. Brian Lovins, as well as CLA Executive Director Kevin Kempf, to review next steps, which include socializing the project and holding town hall sessions.

Throughout the month, the project team continuously met with internal CSG Justice Center colleagues and the Communications team to brainstorm ideas for the risk and needs assessment guidelines project and outreach strategies and solicit general feedback.

On April 5, the CSG Justice Center project team and Communications team had a call with the BJA project team to discuss the project timeline and next steps. The BJA project team shared best communication practices for submitting drafts of upcoming materials and the deadlines that would best work for review. Also, on April 5, the CSG Justice Center project team shared the embargoed release copies of the approved deliverable documents with the risk and needs assessment guidelines project advisory group.

On April 14, the CSG Justice Center Communications team shared art options with BJA, who shared their top choice for art options on April 19. The art option chosen will be used for the webpage design and document layout.

On April 18, the CSG Justice Center project team and Communications team worked with our consultant designer to discuss initial ideas for the webpage design. The CSG Justice Center project team drafted an initial outline of the ideas discussed with the designer to build the initial webpage mock-up.

In late April, the CSG Justice Center project team began drafting the initial project talking points. On April 26, an initial draft of the talking points was shared with the CSG Justice Center Communications team. On April 29, project team expert consultant Dr. Sarah Desmarais shared some additional ideas for the talking points. The CSG Justice Center project team will merge this feedback with the edits provided by the CSG Justice Center Communications team. Once the updated draft is reviewed by the CSG Justice Center Communications team, the talking points will be shared with the BJA project team for review and feedback.

On April 27, the initial web design mock-up was reviewed by the CSG Justice Center project team and Communications team and feedback was provided for additional edits. The CSG Justice Center project team provided an updated outline of the edits discussed with the consultant designer to update the webpage mock-up. The updated webpage mock-up will be shared with the BJA project team for review and feedback.
