NCPCV will do the following:
2.1 Establish an Advisory Board:
• NCPCV will establish an advisory board for the NLEHWN.
o Identify up to eight possible advisory board members, to select no more than five
board members to serve on the advisory board for this project, in conjunction with
IIR.
o Once board members are identified, due diligence checks will be conducted by IIR to
ensure the appropriateness of the member.
o Proposed advisory board members shall be approved by IIR.
o Advisory board members shall sign an NDA for the term of the project. The NDA
will be approved by IIR.
o IIR will be included as an advisory board member.
• Timeline:
o To be completed within the first 30 days of signing the SOW.
2.2 Develop Meetings and Outcomes:
• Convene the advisory board members to support the development of the proof-of-concept
plan. Conduct up to three meetings over the project period. Meeting logistics and
agendas will be discussed during standing meetings with IIR. Any formal
communication for the board will be approved by IIR.
• During board meetings, assess the current challenges that law enforcement agencies face
in addressing health and wellness needs, gaps in service, and explore sustainment funding
opportunities. Challenges and sustainment funding opportunities shall be documented in
a report to IIR. If significant discussions are planned outside the board meetings with
board members, IIR should have a representative in those discussions.
Attachment A
• Produce a final report with a formal written plan for the anticipated nationwide roll out,
including sustainment costs and identified funding resources for support based on the
findings from the advisory board discussion(s) and the outcomes of the pilot assessments.
A draft report will be provided to IIR for review and comment. A final report will be
delivered to IIR.
• Timeline:
o The first board meeting will occur within 30 days of the signed SOW. Subsequent
meetings will occur as needed.
o The draft final report will be submitted to IIR 45 days before the end of the project
period.
