On 5.12.21 CHJ had a call with Rusmira to discuss the status of grant and program development progress. Since launching their LEAD Program on April 26, 2021, they have received 16 referrals, 3 are active in the program, 6 are awaiting intake, and 7 are in the pipeline to be processed soon. Their MOU was developed and signed by majority of stakeholders. April 6, 2021, submitted for NCE and is awaiting approval. Currently, they have one case manager with plans to hire a second, as well as a community outreach worker. They have an Operational Work Group to screen participants and are creating standardized program eligibility criteria. Our next call is scheduled for June 9, 2021, including DPD's research partner at Michigan State University. On 5/24 Rusmira told us of her resignation from her role as the LEAD project manager.
