Grantee contacted AHP regarding resources for the new State’s Attorney who is a former defense attorney that wants to start this LEAD type program; sent resources on diversion 1/27 including LEAD policies and procedures and MOUs as well as information on the mentoring program and officer intervention case study series; AHP scheduled call with CHJ, AHP and the grantee for 2/24. On 2/24 call resources identified included connecting grantee to other sites that are doing similar recovery drop-in centers to discuss "Drug takeback" protocols, as well as connecting with other prosecutorial based diversion programs. on 3/8 CHJ reached out to grantee for a status update: CHJ is waiting to hear back from the other 2 sites regarding the drug dropbox policies and also a couple of programs that do a prosecutorial based diversion. Provided resources: examples of eligibility criteria that other officer intervention-type programs use. On 4/29/21 CHJ connected SD grantee to another grantee with a specialty court program in Tarrant County, TX. No other information is needed at this time.
