During January check-in, SL and MD team discussed victim notification/engagement protocol, the creation of which was mandated by MD legislation. It was decided that MD team would send protocol to SL and the protocol would be discussed in February.
Previously to meeting, over email, MCASA representative (Laura) sent SL VNEP draft; SL forwarded it to Pattie and Crystal. TTA team decided that draft looked good and MCASA was given permission to disseminate protocol, explicitly still in draft form, to LE agencies for additional MDT input.
During meeting, team discussed that draft was final enough to circle up to BJA while LE input continued to be solicited.
MCASA representative to check with her supervisor to make sure this draft is "final" enough to be reviewed by BJA with the understanding that it's still a dynamic document. MCASA rep then to send document to SL, and SL will circle up to BJA.
SL circulated materials through a team that OKd them and then moved them up to BJA.
