On March 9, NCVC hosted a webinar focused on traumatic victimization and police interview and investigation techniques to improve domestic violence and sexual assault case outcomes. Speakers included Dr. Justin Ramsdell, a law enforcement trainer and respected forensic psychologist from George Mason University, and Ret. Det. Justin Boardman of Valley City (Utah) Police Department. The webinar received positive feedback as to speakers and content; it also received over 200 attendees. Nine of nine feedback survey respondents rated their satisfaction with the webinar overall as positive. All nine respondents also indicated the webinar increased their capacity to utilize trauma-informed interview and investigation techniques and that they would attend another webinar on a similar topic if offered.
