As part of the Department of Justice (DOJ) Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN) Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) program, CNA and NCVC provided a victim services assessment for the Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD) in Fort Pierce, Florida. The victim services assessment was requested through the US Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida in coordination with the FPPD. This assessment report is intended to assist the FPPD by making recommendations about victim-centered resources to support the needs of the PSN program and other initiatives. Additionally, NCVC and CNA debriefed with the FPPD following the development and dissemination of the assessment to discuss the recommended TTA and next steps.
