The TTAC team has developed working relationships with many key federal partners representing public health and public safety communities and also collaborates regularly with numerous national organizations. During this reporting period, TTAC staff supported the following national and federal partners:
• ONC - discussed potential solutions to the issue of matching PDMP records to the correct patient.
• CDC – assisted CDC grantees and other partners in developing interstate data sharing and healthcare record integration with the RxCheck Hub.
• ONDCP – developed infographic detailing PDMP policies and capabilities
• IHS – discussed pilot project to connect IHS and tribal pharmacies with the RxCheck Hub
• eHealth Exchange – discussed pilot project to connect providers with the RxCheck Hub
In May 2020, TTAC staff participated in an interview with the Urban Institute regarding TTAC’s technical assistance to the PDMP community, with primary focus on assistance to FY17 and FY18 COAP grantees. The Urban Institute, with funding from BJA, is conducting an interim assessment and evaluation of the Comprehensive Opioid Abuse Program and is conducting interviews of COAP TTA providers and grantees as part of the assessment.
