As part of the Center's annual technical assistance project, and through a competitive application process, The Maricopa Office of the Legal Defender in Phoenix, Arizona, was selected to be a recipient of 12-months of targeted and intensive technical assistance in all aspects of holistic defense. While the exact scope of the TTA varies with each chosen office, the recipient office's application forms the basis of the TTA plan and always includes multiple site visits to The Bronx Defenders, visits by Bronx Defenders staff to the recipient office, strategic planning, and on-site trainings in various aspects of holistic defense as well as substantive, interdisciplinary legal practice areas.

A several-day site visit to The Bronx Defenders conducted by key leadership of the Maricopa Office of the Legal Defender. This site visit was conducted as part of our larger TTA efforts with this office.
