NDCRC will disseminate surveys to Tribal Healing to Wellness Staff. These surveys address the structure (e.g., funding, personnel, partnerships), operation (e.g., services offered, eligibility, decision making), and successes and challenges (e.g., adherence to or deviance from best practices; racial, ethnic, and gender disparity or equity). The purpose of the survey is to develop a current portrait of Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts including their needs and emerging trends nationally, locally (state, region), and by location type (e.g., rural, urban).

The NDCRC staff will review the existing Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts survey to determine if the survey needs to be revised.
NDCRC staff will communicate with OMB and the assigned BJA policy adviser to determine next steps in revising the current version of the Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts survey.
NDCRC staff will work to revise the Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts survey and resubmit for approval to OMB. NDCRC will collaborate with the Center for Court Innovation, Tribal Law and Policy Institute, and the National Association of Drug Court Professionals to revise the survey and develop appropriate dissemination plan.
Tribal Law and Policy Institute will provide to NDCRC a list of known Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts. The NDCRC will compare this list to BJA and OJJDP grant awardees and add any tribal courts that seem to be missing. The NDCRC will reach out to these courts via phone or email to obtain the best THWC coordinator contact information. TLPI will confirm any additional contacts available.
NDCRC staff will distribute the Tribal Healing to Wellness Courts survey via email to all Tribal Healing to Wellness contacts. The survey will be available by a fillable PDF and by hard copy upon request.
In an attempt to increase responses to the survey, NDCRC is working with the Tribal Law & Policy Institute (TLPI) as they contact tribal court leaders directly.
On July 21, NDCRC co-directors will partner with TLPI for a webinar focusing on the importance and process of data collection. The NDCRC will promote the THWC survey at this event in an attempt to encourage attendees to participate.
At the recommendation of TLPI and BJA, the NDCRC created an online version of the survey, the link for which will be distributed via the THWC listserv, NDCRC website, and at NADCP's RISE21 conference.

Please submit a signed letter of support from your agency’s executive or other senior staff member. The letter can be emailed to or uploaded with this request. The letter should be submitted on official letterhead and include the following information:
- General information regarding the request for TTA services, i.e., the who, what, where, when, and why.
- The organizational and/or community needs specific to the request for TTA services.
- The benefits or anticipated outcomes from the receipt of TTA services.
By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
