The Harris County, Texas Sheriff's Office as part of the Harris County, Texas National Public Safety Partnership Site (PSP) requested a crime analysis and technology assessment. IDEA Analytics was selected to fulfill the request and conducted the assessments through one onsite visit and virtual interviews to collect information, meet with stakeholders, and deliver recommendations. The crime analysis and technology assessments occurred in February 2020. IDEA Analytics delivered a final report to Harris County PSP in August 2020.
Harris County PSP hopes to have a better understanding of how to efficiently and effectively utilize their current resources to combat violent crimes within jurisdictional boundaries.
