Sarah C. had an in-person meeting with Sgt. Price and Sarah Savicki. They were preparing to post the Collector's position. Sgt. Price is working with the NC State Laboratory to get the list of lawfully owed DNA individuals that are already in CODIS.
Sarah S. shared that they are looking to expand on the work they are doing since everything is on autopilot (for lack of a better term) right now and she wants to keep moving forward. We discussed their MDT and creating a website.
Sarah C. sent Sarah S. a list of SAKI websites.
Sarah C. had a check-in meeting with Sarah S. and special guest Kelly Taylor. We discussed the process on the FY18 grant, some questions Sarah S. had about the National Death Index, and recent convictions. We also discussed ways Sarah S. can accomplish more with her SART.
Sarah C. met with Sarah S. and Sgt. Price. They are in the process of making an offer to a SC for the 2018 lawfully owed DNA grant and have identified someone as a collection agent. They have their census completed. When they have a collection agent on board, they want to send them to Cuyahoga to shadow the lawfully owed DNA team up there. We discussed portable finger print scanners.
Sarah S. has been going through the list she received from their laboratory to make sure the SAKs listed as "tested to completion" have in fact been tested to completion.
Had a check-in with Sarah Savicki and members of the laboratory. We talked about the forensic genealogy case and questions they had about testing secondary evidence.

By submitting this application to BJA NTTAC, I understand that upon approval of this application for TTA, the requestor agrees to keep BJA NTTAC informed of any circumstances that may impact the delivery of the TTA, including changes in the date of the event, event cancellation, or difficulties communicating with the assigned TTA provider.
