The Tribal Law and Policy Institute Healing to Wellness Court Training and Technical Assistance team partnered with the OJJDP Tribal Youth Resource Center to facilitate the strategic planning meeting for all FY 2018 OJJDP Tribal Youth Programs and Tribal Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court grantees. The strategic planning training is designed to support tribes to develop a strategic plan that will enhance their capacity to develop, expand, improve, and/or maintain their juvenile justice continuum with a particular focus on improving outcomes for tribal youth. TLPI staff member Kristina Pacheco specifically assisted with the Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court grantees, including facilitating "Developing and Strengthening the Tribal Juvenile Healing to Wellness Courts" and Wellness Court-specific breakouts.

Tribal Law and Policy Institute staff member Kristina Pacheco worked in partnership with the Tribal Youth Resource Center to develop strategic planning training materials for the FY 2019 OJJDP CTAS purpose areas 8 and 9 grantees. Training materials included handouts and PowerPoints specific to Juvenile Healing to Wellness Courts, including policy and procedure considerations, and planning considerations.
On behalf of the TLPI Tribal Healing to Wellness Court training and technical assistance team, TLPI staff member Kristina Pacheco attended the FY 2018 Tribal Youth Strat Pak grantee meeting and provided training and facilitation to the Juvenile Healing to Wellness Court grantees.
