The 4th Annual National SAKI Grantees Meeting was hosted June 6–7 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Arlington, Virginia. Each SAKI grantee was able to send up to three representatives to this year’s meeting. In addition, all non-SAKI and non-DANY jurisdictions interested in sexual assault response reform were each invited to send two individuals to the meeting. This year, abstracts submitted by SAKI sites for peer-to-peer presentation sessions were implemented for the first time. Breakout sessions featuring these SAKI site presentations were conducted simultaneously in three 30-minute sessions. Representatives from BJA and the FBI gave the keynote presentation about serial offender Samuel Little and the involvement of several SAKI sites throughout the investigation and confirmation of his committed crimes. The meeting maintained its multidisciplinary focus from past years—representing professionals from law enforcement, victim advocacy, prosecution, medical, and crime laboratories.
