In connection with NACDL’s pretrial training and technical assistance in Colorado we are producing training videos to support our previously published pretrial release manual and live training that were made pursuant to this grant.
Bonnie Hoffman coordinated with Maureen Cain to develop the content and format of the videos designed to educate public defenders and court appointed counsel about bail in Colorado. The first video will be a condensed version of the live training offered on December 4, 2015. The second video will focus on emerging issues in pretrial release advocacy, with a focus on some of the unique challenges faced by the state’s rural communities.
On November 9, 2017 Bonnie Hoffman and Gerald Lippert (of NACDL’s Programs Dept.) filmed the two training videos at the Colorado Public Defender Office’s training room in Denver, CO.
